When Forbes dropped its annual ranking of the world’s highest-paid actresses yesterday, there were few surprises — except the No. 4 spot, Fan Bingbing, who trumped A-listers Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie.
Bingbing who, you ask?
She’s only one of China’s biggest celebrities — and brought home a staggering $21,000,000 in paychecks this past year. Western audiences might recognize her from “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” but her film career took off more than a decade ago with 2003’s megahit “Cell Phone,” for which she won best actress at the Hundred Flowers Awards (the Chinese equivalent of the Golden Globes).
The 33-year-old beauty is also a pop star, producer, philanthropist, Louis Vuitton ambassador and high-profile red carpet regular. No big deal.
